ZESICA Women’s 2023 Bohemian Floral Printed Wrap V Neck Short Sleeve Split Beach Party Maxi Dress

This dress is fantastically boho. I’m a bigger girl (5’4 240) so I was worried the straps wouldn’t fit around me. Once I figured out the strap goes through a hole on the side it fit great! Top is a little low and open for my taste so might wear a bra-let under but that’s just a preference. Also might wear small bike shorts under because there’s is a slit and I tend to lose all my grace after a few drinks. Length goes down to my ankles (perfect length for a longer dress). Fabric is light but doesn’t feel fake. Color is good. Haven’t been this excited to wear a dress in awhile.

I expected to not really like this dress and didn’t the first time I tried it on… but then it grew on me and it’s one of my new favorites. It’s pretty flattering and I have the HARDEST time finding anything these days that is flattering on me because I’ve been eating lots of cake lately… it’s also longer on me than the model in the photo but I’m pretty short and squatty… I’m 5’4” and about 180 lbs give or take.. I ordered the Large which fits, but I could have probably gotten away with a medium because it’s a wrap dress. However, I’m glad I got the large because I can make the waste smaller by tying it tighter and I like the length (hits right above my feet for the perfect maxi length.. The material is not stretchy but it is breathable- and it’s not see-through!! Big plus. It may be loose in the top if you are flat chested (I’m a C cup and it fits pretty good but does have a little extra fabric in the chest area, but that could just be because I ordered the large one) so far I’ve had no real issues with this dress flying open but I did feel like I needed to have my hand in front of me when the wind blew… and I did wear shorts under it just in case… but I have not flashed anyone yet. They send you a snap button you can sew on it which I will probably do to give me some more piece of mind. I’ve worn it twice, but haven’t washed it yet because the care instructions on the tag are confusing and kind of conflicting, so I’m m afraid of shrinking it.

The one big issue I have with this dress is that the color is not the same as it is in the picture. Look through people’s review pictures and compare them to the pictures in the add. I bought the tangerine dress thinking it would be burnt orange like it is in the pictures… NOPE. It’s bright orange. Which is fine because it still looks cute, but it’s definitely not what I wanted and I almost returned it because of the color…. I decided that I’m Still keeping it though because I like it regardless. I did buy a different dress from the same store (ZESICA) and although I loved the fit and fabric on that one also, I am returning it because the pattern and color, once again, are not the same as pictures. Both dresses I got were WAY more vibrant in person than advertised, so just be prepared for that. I’m assuming everything from this brand is going to be like that. All in all, I am happy with my purchase and am considering buying this in another color as well.

Love the dress, very flattering and a beautiful pattern but I’m 5’2″ and its too long. You can’t just hem it up as its a border print and I would lose the border, since I can sew, I took it apart at the waist and cut 7″ off, then sewed it back up. I have enough fabric from doing this that whenI have some time, I am going to make a couple of pockets to place in the side seams, then it will be perfect.

I am 5’6” and 165 pounds and purchased a medium. It fits, however I’m small chested so I don’t fill the top out completely, and the wrap slit hits pretty high on my thigh. I bought for a beach vacation, so I’m okay with that, but if I wear for any other occasion I might wear shorts underneath. Very light fabric, pretty color. I purchased when it was 50% off and probably wouldn’t spend the full price for this. If you’re looking for something light and airy, I recommend.

The dress is not what it is appeared to be. It is very cheap made and material is very cheap. The size they gave is not right. If you try to return the product they don’t want it back and they don’t give you your money back even though you cannot use the product. MY ADVICE, STAY AWAY FROM THAT SELLER, IT IS A SCAM. NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE

I bought this dress for a wedding and decided to order up a size because it didn’t have much stretch (according to the description and reviews) and because I have a pretty big butt. For reference, I’m 5’7″, weigh about 200 lbs, and carry most of my weight in my midsection. I wear a M/L/36 B on top and a L/XL/12 Curvy on the bottom. I ordered this dress in XL and part of me wishes I would have ordered L because the chest was too loose on me and not the most flattering. My only fear is that if I would have ordered the L, it would have been too tight around my hips. Still, it’s a cute dress for a reasonable price and the blue was definitely a flattering color on me!
