I’m 5′ 1.5″ tall and 120 lbs, purchased a petite small. The length is just right. The waist is too large and will need to take in for correct fit. The material is as expected, a mid-weight not thin.

…as far as Hanes quality, comfort, and value which translates to a good product at a good price.
These pants run big. If you wear you regular size snug, that size will be somewhat loose in these; if your regular size fits loose, you’ll most likely need to size down in these.
The one thing I don’t like about these sweats is that the lower leg is huge, so the look isn’t very trim. So beware if looking more sleek and less than Marie Barone from Everybody Loves Raymond is important to you.

5’5” and petite doesn’t drag. Soft, comfortable and doesn’t leave fleece lint balls all over the other clothes

With a $7.50 price tag, I decided to buy 2 pair of these (Ebony color, size XL Petite). I’m 5’3″ and Petite can be a hit or miss for me, doesn’t always fit well. They can be too short in length or in crotch depth. These fit perfectly in both (they come right to the top of my foot and crotch depth is very comfottable. The fit through the legs and rear is what I expect from an XL and what I want for lounging pants……loose throughout but not sloppy looking, a fit that I’ll feel comfortable wearing to run errands/buy groceries. etc.

They’re ALMOST PERFECT except the WAIST, which is huge! H-U-G-E! In one place, the ad description says they have a drawstring closure, further down it says elastic waistband, no drawstring…..There’s no drawstring! What they do have is a wide elastic (1 3/4 in.) inside the waist band. The waist band has a seam in the back, and, when I opened that seam up, I was happy to find that the elastic band isn’t sewn onto the waist band making the 2 pieces into one piece, as is usually the case. The bottom of the elastic piece IS sewn to the bottom of the waist band to keep it in place, but other than that, the waist band is an open channel and the elastic can be easily separated from it by ripping just that one-line seam at the bottom. Also, the seam of the elastic piece was right there when I opened up the waist band seam. I was feeling lucky now!

Having the waist constructed as it is gives 2 options for adjusting its size.

    1. Once the back waist band seam is opened, you can easily thread a drawstring through the channel, to the front. Cut two button holes in the front of the waist band, a couple inches apart (using a sewing machine or by hand), to pull the drawstring through to the ouside. Knot the ends, and there you have your draw string. Sew up that short seam in the back, and you’re done!

    2. Open up the the waist band and the elastic seams, separate the elastic and the wasit band at the bottom (using seam ripper) for however many inches you need to shorten it the elastic. Once it’s loose, cut the elastic to the correct length, sew it back together, close up the back seam of the waist band, and its done. Provided you measured correctly and cut the elastic to the correct length, you won’t need a drawstring. That’s what I did….cut the elastic to the right size. I only got one pair adjusted and may do a draw string on the 2nd pair whenever I get around to doing that one,

Thankfully, it was a relatively easy fix, they now fit perfectly and I’m well satisfied.. Assuming they’re all made with this huge waist band and no drawstring, you’ll have to decide if you want to mess with it or not. But, who knows, I could order the same pants tomorrow, in a different color, and they’d fit nothing like these. When you order clothes from Amazon, you never know what you’re gettin’ til you got it!

I am 5’2″, 170 pounds, and I usually wear an extra large in tops and bottoms. Due to reviews saying these run large, I ordered a size large instead and am glad that I did. They fit perfectly through the torso (I am apple-shaped and round in the middle) but are very roomy to the point of being too large through the thighs. And I would not describe them as petite. They are about two inches too long which would put them in the normal length range for me. But since they are a great price and I only wear them around the house when the weather is cool here in Florida, I will just roll down the waistband until they don’t drag the floor. But do order a size smaller than you would normally, and if you are under 5’3″, know that they may be too long for you.

I ordered these in size small after reading review after review (dozens of them) saying how HUGE they were, and I should order at least a size down. They didn’t fit at all and had a bad, chemical odor. i sent them back and, because of the price, decided to try again and got a medium. They went on, that’s about all I can say. I must be a Martian or something, because they are definitely NOT “huge” on me. As for the cut of them, this isn’t my idea of sweat pants at all, but more like yoga pants, leggings or even footless tights. I think of sweats as comfortable, baggy and something you can lounge around in. I can’t lounge around in these because they cut me at the crotch. I think people see “Hanes” and think, “oh, good quality”, not realizing they’re manufactured in a sweat shop in Taiwan out of very cheap fabric. I don’t know if I will be able to wear these or not. I’m not exactly gigantic – I weigh 140, 28″ waist, and am average height and usually take a medium, and petite if it’s the right length (I find that petite lengths are all over the map). They are now too short. I washed them once in lukewarm water, hung them up, and they shrank about 2″ in length, and came out with white blotches on them. Very disappointing, but these are very cheap in quality as well as in price. If I look for sweats in my area, they all have tight cuffs on the ankles which make me look like an elephant.

    Great service and prompt delivery.
Pants are a little big, but it is so good to find nice sweatpants that I don’t have to have shortened (right now I am 5’3″ and shrinking!)

  9. Cliente Amazon

Pants are nice but I ordered petite and received regular. About 3″ too long. Due to the low price, I will alter instead of returning. I would like to order more but I’m afraid they will send the wrong item again. 😏

I am a cold person, my body temp is usually lower than others (like border hypothermia) and my blood pressure is also low, but these are too hot to wear indoors at 18C. They also run big and could almost fall off. I am a small in almost all pants sized this way and wear a 26 jean for reference.

The fleece pants are a nice color and very soft and comfortable, but the legs are a bit too long and wide at the ankle. All-in-all worth the money and I would recommend them.
