The dress was very flattering and hid my mom pooch. The neckline was a little large and bunched in the back but my hair covered it. I ended up returning it because I was concerned about the material showing sweaty pits. We were going to a wedding and would be dancing up a sweat. So I ended up going with another dress that wouldn’t show sweat.

I’m leery about purchasing a dress online and am pleasantly surprised by this dress. I had searched for a long time to find one that I could wear in a casual business setting. It its not too short, the neckline is not too wide. The black fabric is not sheer at all. I bought a large and usually wear size 10 – 12. I am 5’8″ and it hits just below my knees. The pleats in the waist do not pucker or bulge.

I ordered a Large in this dress in two colours. I usually wear a size 10 so I thought it would be okay. Both were too small. The fabric of the dark green one was nice. The fabric of the red one was awful… it was completely see-through, really cheap t-shirt material. Both dresses have zero tags, nothing to say size, what it’s made of. And it’s not like they were removed, there’s no tag period. Won’t buy again. Also I tried to return the dress by the return label wasn’t sent in English and no one in Canada will ship it back. I think this is a scam as there’s no way to return the dresses

Big difference btwn sizes medium (too snug) and large (baggy). I plan to keep the large because: 1) love the teal color (not a dark green), 2) cut is flattering for my curvy figure , and 3) I can work with the extra material. Material is durable and not sheer.

There’s nothing WOW! about this dress but it’s comfortable, well-made and flattering. It can be dressed up with jewelry or a scarf or it looks great just plain. The fabric is thick enough not to be see-through and it’s modest. My 13-year-old looks great in it and we’re both happy.
