I like this dress. I expected it to be longer, but it only hits below the knee. It is not a Maxi. There is no embroidery on this dress. In addition, what looks like embroidery is part of a print. It is cute, and I am keeping it, but it is not what I expected.

I finally wore this out and received multiple compliments, but I feel like the fit isn’t exactly like I expected it to be. The empire waist can look a bit like a maternity dress if it’s not sitting right (i.e.; not pulled down in back and riding higher in front). All in all it’s comfortable, but there’s also not a lot of stretch.

I got this to wear to our Christmas party and though it be fun to wear something a bit flashy. My only problem is that it is meant to be midi length but is really too long for that so will try to shorten it. A word of warning. If you like to go bra-less put one on unless you are a very perky teen.

This dress is not embroidered (which came up as a keyword when I was searching for an embroidered dress). it’s also very flimsy and cheap. The text describes the dress as:
“Vintage, glamorous, fashion, elegant dress, great to pair with high heels Good for homecoming, cocktail, office, work, vocation, business, formal and daily wear”
but it’s really VERY casual….not even nice enough to wear to work, really. Do not wear this with heels. So just be aware.

Beautiful fabric. The bodice is a little short on me, when I raise my arms the fabric rides up. But it is nice for a summer day. It also has a plastic snap in the “v” that helps with gapping.
