I am 5’5 and about 130 and the small fit perfect with a little room to spare. I love the super stretchy material and the long sleeves. I went back and bought 4 more! They are perfect to wear under sweaters and sweatshirts. Which are exactly why I bought them. Yes the material appears very thin, BUT, surprisingly they are very warm. Especially in addition to the other garments mentioned above. You will love them!
UPDATE: The BLACK one is NOT THE SAME MATERIAL. I loved the first ones I ordered, and subsequently ordered three more in different colors. All but one (BLACK), were the nice and soft stretchy material. The black was noticably smaller right out of the package and fit much tighter then the others. I compaired the labels of the material and noticed it was NOT exactly the same. Pretty disappointed, BUT, decided to keep it since I wear these under sweatshirts & sweaters anyway. Still, I love the long arms on these. I have found it difficult to find long arms in petite sizes. This company, however, should make it clear that the black one is not the same fabric. Because the material is the reason I bought these in the first place.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this turtleneck. The fabric is heavy weight (not at all see through), and has a great drape. Wish I had ordered a small since the medium is pretty loose. I normally wear a small, but ordered a medium based on how ‘fitted’ the top looked in the photo. Also, the top is a true ‘turtleneck’, not a MOCK turtleneck. The neck can be worn high or folded down like a mock turtleneck. Speaking of the neck, I am disappointed in how loose the fit is. It slides over my head easily, but it does flop down when wearing it full height or as a mock-neck. The top does offer warmth under my sweaters and sweatshirts. I will probably order more in other colors, only in size small and hope that the neck is a tighter fit.

I did buy this in white, and I was hoping that it wouldn’t be see-through. It is definitely lined with a warm, soft lining, so it is not too sheer, but my bra still shows a bit through it, so I’ve worn it with sweaters or vests. Still, it is worth the money because it is very comfortable, and if you are purchasing a darker color, you should not have any issues.

I’m sure after one wash it will be more form fitting. This top is NOT see through at all. The quality is very thick! Black turtlenecks you can really dress up or dress down. I love to wear them with lots of colorful accessories. I will be ordering this item in other colors as well! Very happy with this purchase.

Since it is not super fitted, it may not be a great choice for layering, but a good, warm, basic turtleneck. The neck is not at all fitted, actually pretty loose. I would have liked for it to be a bit more fitted in that area, but I don’t fold it down, and it’s just a personal choice.
